How much is a Museum of the Future ticket?

The ClickToGuide listing has one ticket type, general entry, from AED 149 for an adult. That is the rate that applied before the temporary closure. The museum says tickets for the renewed experience will go on sale closer to the reopening, so prices for 2027 visits may change.

Each ticket is for a set date and time slot and gives full access to the museum experience and its amenities for that visit.

Is the Museum of the Future open now?

No. The exhibitions closed to visitors in September 2026. The official museum website describes the closure as temporary, with a reopening planned for the first quarter of 2027, around the museum's fifth anniversary, bringing new exhibitions, labs and a redesigned visitor journey.

The previous exhibitions, such as The HEAL Institute, will not return in their old form. The building and its calligraphy facade stay as they are, the online shop remains open, and some events may continue during the closure.

Do children need a ticket, and who gets in free?

Every visitor needs a ticket, including those who qualify for free admission. Children under 4 enter free without booking ahead: go to the Customer Service desk on arrival with documents or ID that show their age. From age 4, the adult rate applies.

People of Determination and one caregiver also enter free without pre-booking, on showing a People of Determination ID with the visitor's name. These are the pre-closure rules, so confirm them again when tickets for the renewed museum are released.

You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your time slot. Cancelling within 24 hours of the slot costs 100% of the price. Eligible refunds are returned to your account within 7 working days.

With the museum closed until 2027, book only once dates for the renewed museum appear on sale.

No coupon code is published for this ticket, and you do not need one to get the listed price. The genuine way to pay less is the free-entry rules: under-4s and People of Determination with a caregiver go in free, so a family with a toddler pays only for the older members.

Museum of the Future or Dubai Museum?

Many people search for "Dubai museum" when they mean the Museum of the Future on Sheikh Zayed Road. The Dubai Museum is a separate attraction inside Al Fahidi Fort in Bur Dubai, focused on the city's history, and a ticket for one is not valid at the other.
